February 2-6, 2027
ShowMessezentrum Nurnberg, Nuremberg, Germany

Why it matters The show that decides which robot pets end up in ordinary toy shops rather than only online.
February 2027, dates not confirmed
ShowJavits Center, New York, USA
The American toy trade show, and the usual first stop for robot pets heading to US shops.
Why it matters Listings point to late February, but the organiser's own site could not be reached to confirm it, so treat the dates as provisional.
Things we expect but will not put a day against until somebody official does.
No date announced
Yukai Engineering
Mirumi is on sale in Japan only. There is no announced date for a wider release, so we are watching the maker's own store rather than guessing.
Usually July, announced a few weeks ahead
Amazon
Amazon never announces this far in advance. It matters here because several robot pets are Amazon-only in some countries.
Expect news at CES 2027
Several makers
Most of the robots on this site are on their first or second generation. New versions are normally announced at CES and go on sale months later.
September 4-8, 2026
