Which one to buy

Choose Vector 2.0 if

you want speech: questions answered, Alexa, a camera that knows your face, and you accept the membership that switches all of it on.

Choose Eilik if

you want a robot with no account, no network and no bill, that responds to your hands rather than your voice.

Eilik does not understand a word you say, and its servo is loud enough to notice in a quiet room. Vector understands a great deal, but only while the membership is paid: $11.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Eilik runs about ninety minutes to a charge and works out of the box in any country; Digital Dream Labs publishes no runtime for Vector 2.0 and ships only inside the United States.
